We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to manage the compliance management system for the Personal Loan product. Problems You Will Solve

• Manage the Personal Loan product Compliance Management System
• Operate a compliance testing and monitoring program
• Interface with business lines to identify, escalate and remediate compliance issues
• Responsible for identifying, tracking compliance issues to ensure remediation
• Lead regulatory examination requirements and third-party audit requirements.
• Review web site and other marketing materials to ensure compliance with consumer finance laws
• Provide clear, candid, direct, and timely feedback to the organization regarding operational compliance issues and questions
• Work with the legal department to create guidelines based on legal requirements and work with the business units to ensure adequate controls exist to meet regulatory requirements
• Be responsible for the enhancement and management of compliance policies
• Liaise with bank partners

About You

• 5 plus years’ experience in regulatory compliance for a financial services company, FinTech company, or government agency
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal financial statutes and regulations (e.g. TILA and Reg. Z, ECOA and Reg. B, UDAAP, Dodd-Frank, SCRA, MLA, FCRA, BSA, FDCPA, etc.)
• Solid interpersonal skills with ability to interact comfortably with employees, senior management, auditors, and regulatory examiners
• Good judgment and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong service orientation
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to prioritize, balance, and respond to competing needs within the organization
• Basic SQL understanding a strong plus
