QuantumScape is an energy storage technology company, located in San Jose, California. We are working on a fundamental disruption in the field of energy storage. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated candidate to lead product management for our rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities include developing the product roadmap, specifications, and project management. The position will report to the VP of Product.

In this role, you will:

•Engage in market research and customer discovery to create the product business case and market requirements

•Define product specifications jointly with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations departments internally and communicate and manage it externally with customers

•Lead the program management across products to identify and mitigate risks and manage timelines

•Develop and deliver external messaging for media, analysts and others

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant product and program management, and product marketing

•Understand the energy storage and electric mobility market, related energy industry, and competitive landscape

•A consistent track record in product planning, defining and launching successful products, and unifying product portfolios

•Thought leadership in positioning, driving and inspiring market creation

•Possess outstanding communication skills both verbal and written form. These are vital because the position is cross-functional in nature and demands frequent interactions and deliberations with other departments, customers, and other external parties
