The company’s next-generation batteries are designed to enable longer range, faster charging and enhanced safety in electric vehicles to support the transition away from legacy energy sources toward a lower carbon future.
We are seeking a motivated and detailed material handler to join our manufacturing operations team. You will join a team that is instrumental for the smooth operation of day to day activities at Quantumscape.
Responsibilities:
Moving materials to their next designated step in the process
Auditing and inventorying storage locations
Contribute to orderly operation of stock and materials storage area
Collaborate with different groups to allow smooth operation of their tasks
Clearly and concisely communicating task completion status to team members and manager through verbal and written pass-downs using MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook and OneNote)
Maintaining a clean work-space and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience:
A high-school diploma and three years of work experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Thorough, adaptive and capable of completing tasks with minimal errors
Comfortable working with computers: quality systems, databases and MS Office products
Friendly, positive and a good team member
Basic mathematical skills
Organized, detailed and have clear written and verbal communication skills
Able and willing work overnight and weekends with flexibility to work overtime on short notice.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a glovebox, dry room or fume hood that requires the use of fine motor skills for extended periods of time, standing, reaching and twisting motions with hands and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Previous material handling experience a plus!
