Role
QuantumScape is seeking an experienced and motivated process development engineer to join our R&D team. In this role you will drive the development and optimization of new fabrication methods for our novel solid-state battery devices.
Required Experience & Skills
PhD in materials science, chemical engineering, or related field, with 5+ years industry experience
Hands-on experience leading process development of materials or devices in a relevant industry
Ability to communicate clearly and candidly; strong affinity for teamwork
Comfortable working in a glovebox, dry room, or fume hood

Highly Desired
Expertise in lamination or adhesion applications for layered devices
Familiarity with battery materials and test methods
Knowledge of statistical techniques and scripting languages for data analysis
Experience in designing and improving prototype process equipment
