QuantumScape is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and collaborative teammate with experience in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments to secure a robust computing infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate is excited to expand infrastructure securely, promote security initiatives, and think quickly as the company grows at a rapid pace.
You will help architect a next-generation manufacturing facility by conducting security design reviews, making infrastructure and tools recommendations, advising on security features, as well as commissioning audits and penetration tests where needed. Company IP is critical to our value; you will be responsible for designing the infrastructure and business practices that secure intellectual property at its source and for its use in manufacturing operations. You will also help us design our hybrid on-prem/cloud architecture for enhanced uptime and security. You will identify and select vendors for a range of solutions to issues that you identify.
You seek learning opportunities and continually educate yourself to stay up- to-speed on the latest developments in the fast-moving industry of computer security. You have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and experience in building secure manufacturing facilities.
