Do you want to help build world-class R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the energy industry? We need a Sr. Capacity Planner to join our team and ensure the company can rapidly scale its operations to commercialize this technology and change the world.
In this role, you will :
Lead capacity planning activities across the company
Build and maintain our production capacity model
Identify capacity gaps and recommend strategies for closing these gaps
Develop and communicate demand forecasts for key resources like equipment capacity, raw materials, and labor
Drive decisions on investments in capital equipment to support our manufacturing scale-up strategy
Work closely with our R&D, manufacturing and planning teams to accurately model our manufacturing processes
Build analytical and decision-support tools and dashboards used for manufacturing planning
Cultivate a deep understanding of our technology and production processes
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing, an MBA, or equivalent experience
A strong track record of building and maintaining models used to analyze and improve operations, particularly capacity modeling and cost modeling
You have a demonstrated ability to understand complex manufacturing processes
You are organized and pay attention to the details; you are conscientious and meticulous in your work
You are highly collaborative, inventive in finding the information you need, and comfortable when facing uncertainty or ambiguity
You are an outstanding communicator and are comfortable presenting to senior leaders
You have advanced Excel skills
Additional Skills:
You are proficient in Python or another data analysis language
