QuantumScape is on a mission to transform energy storage with solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. The company’s next-generation batteries are designed to enable longer range, faster charging and enhanced safety in electric vehicles to support the transition away from legacy energy sources toward a lower carbon future
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to support product development and technical sales for our rapidly growing organization. This position will sit at the interface between the engineering organization and the customer to inform key product decisions for applications in the automotive industry.
In this role, you will:
Work closely across multiple functions including engineering, manufacturing, product, and sales to optimize QuantumScape's automotive products for specific customer applications
Lead a team of applications engineers with expertise across a range of fields
Collect customer feedback and support co-development of battery systems for key automotive programs
Prepare and deliver status summaries for management review
Manage timelines to support customer deliveries and new product launches
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering or a technical field
Deep understanding of Li-ion devices, particularly as related to use in electric vehicles, and of electric vehicle battery systems
Experience with program management and delivering on timelines
A proven track record of success in your field
Possess outstanding interpersonal skills. These are vital because the position is multi-disciplinary in nature and demands constant interactions and deliberations with other departments and customers
