QuantumScape is an energy storage technology company, located in San Jose, California. We are working on a fundamental disruption in the field of rechargeable batteries. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to support product management for our rapidly growing organization. Key responsibilities include development of specifications for automotive and other energy storage applications, documentation and communication of requirements, and project management.

Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales organizations to develop detailed design and performance specifications

Produce and maintain documentation to enable clear and precise communication to internal and external customers

Prepare and deliver status summaries for management review

Manage timelines to support customer deliveries and new product launches

Support customer engagements as needed to explain product capabilities and to collect user input

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering or a technical field

Experience developing written specifications

Understanding of electrochemical devices, particularly as related to use in electric vehicles

A consistent track record of success in your field

Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. These are vital because the position is cross-functional in nature and demands constant interactions and deliberations with other departments, customers, and other external parties
