Job responsibilities:
- Process requests to file articles of incorporation, supply EIN, fulfill Registered Agent requirements and complete other filing tasks to be defined as we grow
- Serve as key member of team leading expansion of all filing services into additional geographies
- Support fulfillment of notary services
- Provide detailed feedback and produce high level written documentation on process optimization opportunities and tool enhancements
- Evaluate processes and procedures to improve the group’s efficiency, productivity, and communication
- Research and analyze compliance requirements for filing activities, track industry precedent and emerging trends, filing fees/costs and other items as we learn them
- Support documentation of corporate correspondence as needed
- Obtain appropriate internal and external signatures for legal documents
- Provide general support to Operations and compliance departments and assist with special projects as needed, including research, organization, and project management
- Other responsibilities based on experience, abilities, and interest as needed
Qualifications
- Demonstrated command and track record of success creating LLCs, ideally in UT, NV, CA, and Delaware
- 5+ years corporate paralegal experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or a combination of both
- Utah Notary Public current certification
- Demonstrated track record of success and subject matter expertise in coordinating or providing Registered Agent services
- Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills. Must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
- Ability to adapt and willingness to work on a variety of matters
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent tech skills, including Microsoft Office and G Suite applications
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including executives and senior management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, highly team-oriented, and a sense of humor
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
