About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. IT Engineer to join the Rocket Lawyer IT team to help implement our technology initiatives. The successful candidate will help implement our Identity Management solution, manage the performance of all IT equipment such as computers, network devices, servers, printers, phones and contact center as well as develop, use, and integrate IT systems. You'll take the hassle out of resolving technical problems and ensuring users are maximizing the value of technology in business. As the primary technical contact for our employees and ensures that service delivery aligns with standards, you will have an in-depth knowledge of the IT environment, and business requirements, with the desired goal of reducing the amount of reactive support required. A Sr. IT Engineer will be knowledgeable and customer-oriented. Communication is everything, so we expect you to amaze us with your superior technical expertise and a problem-solving aptitude. Customer satisfaction and fast resolution time are the primary objectives of the IT Engineers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Single Sign-On production and test environments.
• Manage internal and cloud network infrastructure
• Manage Google G Suite and Google Cloud
• Support engineering and OPS teams technical requirements
• Manage virtualized server environments both Vmware and in the cloud.
• Network configuration, maintenance, and monitoring
• Software deployment to clients and servers
• Clients and servers patch management
• Identify and troubleshoot issues
• Setup and install computer peripherals like monitors, network printers and scanners
• Provide excellent customer service to users including responding to and resolving requests related to hardware and software assistance, account creating and entitlements, and other general IT support
• Responsible for server Hardware/software installations
• Responsible for server maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) preferred
• 5 years of experience in an IT Engineer role with extensive experience with Signal Sign On technologies preferred
• Expert in Windows OS and applications
• In-depth experience in Microsoft power shell
• Strong experience in Microsoft Hyper-V cluster, with Microsoft hyper converge is a plus
• Must have solid understanding of Network protocols
• Experience in Microsoft O365 is a plus
• Experience in EPM/PAM solution
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Linux a plus
• Experience with ITIL preferred
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds like computers, printers, monitors, and peripherals
