As part of our development we are looking for an experienced Product owner to lead the development of our online services.

The position is a permanent position based in France, in Levallois with a mix of 3 days of working from home, to collaborate on a daily basis with our colleagues based in The Hague in the Netherlands, London and San Francisco.

The mission

Your obsession will be to help users solve their legal problems in the simplest way possible. As a good picture is worth 100 books, your UX skills will help you figure this out.

You will own all local product activities to maintain and build beautiful user interfaces for Europe and the UK. This means:

● maintaining the EU product documentation clear

● handling the issues and features optimizations backlogs

● driving new product developments from requirements to the management of sprints and scrums with the development team.

You will be part of the Rocket Lawyer Product team and align on the priorities in an agile way.

You will be working closely with Agathe, Marijn and Millie, the business owners for France, theNetherlands and the UK.

You will report directly to Christophe, the General Manager of Rocket Lawyer Europe as well as to the Product Director of Rocket Lawyer.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to gain an intimate understanding of user needs and expectations.
• Prepare user experience specifications: brief, user stories, user flows, wireframing and design mockups.
• Keep the documentation clear and up to date for product information and processes.
• Be able to help to run agile ceremonies with a team of developers: sprint planning, dailies, backlog refinement and retro
• Maintain and Prioritize the product optimizations backlog
• Maintain and Prioritize the incident backlog using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
• Proactively define and drive the creation of new functionalities based on customer needs, market trends and competitive advantages.
• Plan and manage projects and keep stakeholders informed of developments, issues and risks.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the market and the competitive environment.

Skills and qualifications

• English Fluent: that's an absolute requirement to deal daily with your San Francisco, London and European team mates!
• Smart: An experienced Product Owner with 3+ years of experience using Agile methodologies and running Scrum projects for a SaaS and B to C company.
• Design oriented: A front end skill, with knowledge of tools like Creative suite, Figma, and CSS.
• Autonomous: Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player: A creative, solution-oriented individual who inspires innovation throughout the team and enjoys working with other talented product managers to solve complex problems.
• Focused on User Experience: Don't design apps in a vacuum, but think about how they fit into people's lives and the real world. UX experience will be a plus
• Obsession with detail: An eye for detail and an understanding of how it can affect the quality and understandability of a user experience. Will not deliver a mediocre user experience, but also knows when perfection is the enemy of good.
• A good communicator: Excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills with internal business partners and stakeholders, with a strong bias towards building strong relationships
• A lover of numbers: Doesn't hesitate to dive into metrics and application data to diagnose a problem, evaluate a solution or propose a new KPI.
• Education: higher education level (Bac + 5) or school. Initial technical training and UX design oriented background, or UX Design training with proven experience as a Software Product Manager.
