Roofstock is looking for an ambitious and data-driven Paid Search Manager who can think big while rolling up their sleeves to get work done.

This role reports to the Director of Performance Marketing and is part of a Growth organization that has Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, Strategy and Growth experimentation in its core.

As the Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for owning and driving every aspect of the SEM strategy and execution for the growth team: planning, execution, reporting, analytics and optimization, as well as partnering with our Creative team, MarTech and Growth PMs to support experimentation and continuous improvement of acquisition strategies.

Success in this role means building the infrastructure in place before testing and experimenting with different hypotheses and strategies. Scaling and optimizing our Paid Search to deliver cost-efficient user acquisition strategies and programs.

You'll work collaboratively with other members of the Growth & Marketing team to drive overall growth including partnering with the content team on brand marketing initiatives and Lifecycle Marketing team to create integrated campaigns across the customer journey to improve our overall marketing effectiveness.

What You Will Do:

  • Own overall Strategy and Planning of the SEM channel
  • Partner with Director of Performance Marketing to develop the strategy and plan for SEM, GDN, Discovery and UAC
  • Manage day-to-day execution of Google Ads Search and UAC, GDN/Discovery campaigns, as well as related search engines.
  • Provide recommendations and points of view on campaign structure, targeting, creative opportunities, executing A/B testing opportunities for bidding, targeting, copy, creative and landing page strategies.
  • Manage creative testing for all Google Products. Develop creative briefs and partner with the Creative team to plan and execute creative that drives advertising goals with brand consistency and a robust testing cadence and sequencing.
  • Build and evolve a robust audience strategy based on user attributes, interests, browsing patterns, demographic data and custom audiences.
  • Develop frameworks for high velocity testing of Display media such as geographic lift tests to determine channel effectiveness and inform optimal marketing mix.
  • Analytics and Reporting
  • Provide input into our attribution model to ensure optimal insights about media performance by channel with a focus on methodologies for understanding offline media impact on overall paid acquisition efforts.
  • Deliver detailed weekly performance reporting including learnings and agenda iteration.
  • Extract campaign and channel insights and transform them into actionable changes that will drive channel efficiencies and accelerate performance.

What You Bring With You:

  • 5+ years' experience in a performance driven role with a proven track record planning and executing search media channels including UAC/Discovery google products.
  • Strong bias toward action and high velocity of experimentation to develop learning that improve performance
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple agencies and vendors and hold them accountable to delivering timely reporting, communications and account management
  • Experience across short- and long-term measurement approaches, and experience with developing and evolving attribution models.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate in a team environment; proven experience collaborating with agency partners and working cross-functionally with internal partners.
  • Ability to manage a diverse set of tasks, prioritize workload, and deliver results against deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
