At Seven Bridges we are building the most advanced cloud computing platform for genomics data analysis. Our team and product enable scientists to analyze genomic data faster and more efficiently than ever, so they can focus on making progress in genomics and personalized medicine. Through our collaboration with the largest genomics projects, we connect the world’s biomedical information to enable the most efficient analysis at scale.

Things you will learn during this internship:

• Perform application security testing for Seven Bridges products
• Cloud, full stack and network security testing to identify vulnerabilities
• Design penetration testing scoping documentation for a third party penetration testing vendor
• Work closely with engineering and technical operations teams to develop vulnerability fixes, prioritization, and mitigations
• Track, review, and evaluate new vulnerabilities across the technology stack
• Keep up to date with latest testing and ethical hacking methods
• Make suggestions for security improvements

Qualifications

• Familiarity with testing and exploitability of web application vulnerabilities - e.g. RCE , XSS, IDOR, CSRF etc (OWASP Top 10)
• Base level understanding of threat intelligence and indicators of compromise (IOC’s)
• Familiarity with the command line interface of multiple operating systems – Linux, macOS Windows, etc.
• Understanding of scripting languages to include the following – python, shell, ruby, perl
• Organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, willing to speak up, proactive, persuasive

Duration of the internship

Internship will last 3 months, and during that time interns will be receiving an adequate compensation.

You will have the opportunity to work from our Belgrade office.
