The Public Programs Team at Seven Bridges brings together diverse team members who possess a unique balance of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.

The Science Communicator on the Programs team has a remit to tell both the story of the company broadly and the story of specific Programs or capabilities in an engaging, accurate and audience-centric way. They play a significant role in growing outreach and engagement and play the role of arbiter of taste for much of what is made by other team members. They will be a force multiplier for ongoing efforts.

What you'll be doing:

• Summarize scientific content for dissemination through multiple channels, including
• Blog posts on new features
• Articles summarizing recently published papers utilizing Seven Bridges
• Content for website, social media, and newsletters
• Write technical content
• Technical descriptions of science stories using the Seven Bridges ecosystem
• White papers, abstracts, tutorials, etc
• Copy editing
• Scientific conference summaries
• Curate content for engagement and outreach at Seven Bridges
• Collect content from Seven Bridges employees, leverage it to maximize impact
• Maintain repository of content
• Assist with written reporting requirements for funding agencies
• Expand outreach efforts by articulating Seven Bridges value proposition through existing and new outreach initiatives
• Assist with video content curation
• Organize webinars, trainings, workshops, etc
• Identification and ownership of new channels of outreach
• Responsible liaison with Marketing team to ensure Programs outreach is aligned with and supports global outreach
• Present at conferences on behalf of Seven Bridges (as needed)
• Support effective proposals for future opportunities at Seven Bridges, e.g. Programs, RFPs

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in the biomedical sciences
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multi-disciplinary teams
• Responsive and self-starting, can thrive in ambiguous and collaborative environments
• Bias towards problem solving and action
• Superior editorial judgment, can deliver editorial feedback diplomatically and with empathy
• Deliver compelling scientific and marketing presentations
• This person gets things done, overcomes roadblocks, and is motivated to find creative solutions
