At Seven Bridges we are building the most advanced cloud computing platform for genomics data analysis. Our team and product enable scientists to analyze genomic data faster and more efficiently than ever, so they can focus on making progress in genomics and personalized medicine. Through our collaboration with the largest genomics projects, we connect the world’s biomedical information to enable the most efficient analysis at scale.

Things you will learn during this internship:

• Security assessments of our product, and cloud infrastructure
• Implementation and configuration of security tools and technologies in a cloud environment, e.g. SIEM, EDR, HIDS, Vulnerability Scanners, Container Security, etc.
• Identifying and contributing to the development of critical alerts for security monitoring
• Monitoring of those security events within our infrastructure
• Assisting in security threats, incident investigations, and escalations
• You will work with our Operations and Engineering teams to constantly improve security of our system and help us scale highly dynamic infrastructure running thousands of servers in parallel
• Track, review, and evaluate new vulnerabilities across the technology stack
• Keep up to date with latest security threats and vulnerabilities
• Monitor security controls and processes

Qualifications

If you are familiar with the command line interface of multiple operating systems – Linux, macOS Windows, etc., with at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.), organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, willing to speak up, proactive, persuasive and also familiar with security principles, methodologies and best practices, this is perfect position for you.

Duration of the internship

Internship will last 3 months, and during that time interns will be receiving an adequate compensation.

You will have the opportunity to work from Belgrade or Novi Sad offices, and also remote.
