We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Serbia. This individual will be responsible for organization and planning of financial operations in accordance with accounting policies, standards and local law.

Responsibilities:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Calculation of payroll and remunerations
• Prepare monthly and annual closings
• Prepare internal financial reports and keep the record of all internal documentation
• Preparation and submission of financial statements
• Makes calculation of all types of taxes which apply to the company as a taxpayer
• Cooperate with internal and external auditors, and tax controls to ensure compliance
• Work closely with the global finance team in establishing new processes and improvements in the existing ones
• Secure all data is processed timely, accurately, and according to the local accounting principles.

Do you have what it takes:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel
• Experience with NetSuite and Pantheon is a plus.
• Fluency in English language
• Demonstrate attention to detail and excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and consistently meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external entities to maximize performance, problem-solving and results.
