As a member of our Seven Bridges Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to assist us with streamlining and improving our business operations and product roadmaps. You will help optimize our internal customer engagement efforts as well as our processes, documentation efforts, and communication channels.

As a Business Analyst you will be working on both the business and the technology side to make sure we have the end-to-end picture in mind as we develop data products to increase data harmonization between projects and interoperability within the industry. You will collaborate with our Engineering and Product team to improve the quality of our processes and documentation and help us scale our fast-evolving infrastructure and services. You will inform decision making and align goals of the technology teams with business priorities. You will be working as a member of a new scrum team based in Boston, MA and will collaborate closely with our development teams in Europe. This position is remote.

What you'll be doing

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and corporate stakeholders
• Elicit and document project and product requirements and define product use cases
• Interface with stakeholders as well as clients
• Support decision making for data products
• Identify and assess potential technology solutions
• Tailor solutions to support business goals
• Provide expertise on business processes and influence business objectives
• Help devise strategies and drive change within the organization

Do you have what it takes?

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role in the biopharma industry
• Background in medicine, life sciences, healthcare, or bioinformatics
• Experience with big data and cloud platforms as well as ETL processes and solutions
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical problems and solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in biopharma industry standards and/or engineering best practices
• Understanding of complexities in biomedical data curation, ingestion, and modeling
• General knowledge of data regulations (e.g. GxP, GDPR, etc.)
