Great news! Startups that prioritize diversity and inclusion get business benefits like higher revenue, increased innovation, more engaged workers, and productivity boosts.

According to recent research from global consulting firm McKinsey and Company provides insightful data behind the benefits:

  • Companies in the top quartile for gender diversity on executive teams are 25% more likely to have above-average profitability
  • Companies with more than 30% women executives are more likely to outperform companies with only 10-30% women execs
  • Companies in the top quartile for ethnic and cultural diversity are 36% more profitable than companies in the fourth quartile

And if you want to attract top talent, making diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) must be a top priority for your startup. According to GlassDoor, 67% of job seekers are actively looking for companies that are serious about diversifying their workforces.
