We are looking for Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers to join our talented business applications team. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with many teams across our company on complex, advanced software projects to perform end to end system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression automated test suite responsibilities.
You will be directly responsible for the quality of the solutions we build for our clients, addressing their business needs and collaborating on solution reviews. We are looking for self-starters with the skills necessary to empathize with the clients' needs, translate technical complexities, develop appropriate testing solutions, and contribute to the growth of our technology and data-driven company.
Here's what a typical day for you might look like:
Leading Quality Assurance strategies to meet client's objectives
Creating, performing and maintaining clear test plans and test cases to support functional, system integration, end to end, user acceptance and regression testing.
Improving operations by recommending changes in processes
Involvement in client-facing project activities such as user acceptance testing support, solution reviews, and explaining technical complexities and business benefits in layperson terms
Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities including defects
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Contribute to developing automation testing
Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting include the following:
Ability to obtain security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Bachelor's Degree or professional experience in a software or business supporting software field
2+ years in a QA engineering or similar role.
Experience creating, developing, maintaining, and executing test scripts along with test plans and defect management to meet defined requirements
Experience working with SQL
Experience working in an Agile development model
Experience with working with project tools like Jira
Experience or working knowledge of Xcel, Microsoft word and Google Smartsheet
Collaborative team player who is detailed oriented, focused on solution quality and execution
Progressive mindset particularly around deployment models and emerging technologies
Comfortable working across a wide range of project sizes and industries
Experience with Selenium, Gerkin and/or Cypress a plus
Need to be a good self-starter and able to work on their own if needed
U.S. Citizenship is required
