We’ve got two big pieces of news from the talent acquisition world.
Recruiting software provider Jobvite announced they are moving their company headquarters from San Mateo, California to Indianapolis. They will grow their head count in Indy by 200 people over the next few years.
CEO Aman Brar says the company wants to continue to connect to its client base, so the move to Indianapolis is a no-brainer.
“It’s a way to just be closer to the heartland of America when it comes to the great companies and enterprises that often get overlooked in the Midwest,” Aman said. “And really making sure that we’re, you’re building solutions and staying close to our customers here.” (Side note: Aman will be one of our keynote firesides on day 1 of Powderkeg Unvalley next week)
But the wins don’t stop there.
Jobvite is also expanding to two more Unvalley cities. They are acquiring Pittsburgh-based JazzHR (a recruiting software provider) and NXTThing RPO (a recruitment process outsourcing company based in Columbus, Ohio).
The combined company will serve more than 10,000 employer customers, with Indianapolis acting as the company’s HQ.
